Juniper was found at an abandoned house with various other hens, who were all being attacked and killed by one of the roosters on the property. We brought in her and her sister Jasper, who unfortunately passed in 2019.

 

Juniper is a notorious escape artist, and we often find her in our garden eating the produce. She also likes to start problems in the pen, bullying Jesse and then in turn getting bullied by Petra the Peacock.
