Leo is one of our newer arrivals at the sanctuary, who came to us on December 9th, 2019 after being discovered orphaned in a field just hours after he was born. When we found out about him, we had to rush to get him the colostrum he needed to survive before bringing him home, where he immediately became the baby of the family. Because he came to us so young, we have been able to see him grow from a helpless little newborn who fell asleep in our arms and suckled on our fingers, to a rambunctious kid who chews on everything (we’ve had to hide all electrical wires in the house). He loves to follow us around on our sanctuary chores, and keeps us busy making sure that he stays out of trouble. As he gets older, he has begun to join the older boys outside, spending his days grazing in the field with them.
