Dasher is a very special pig to FPAS! He was the first piglet born at the sanctuary when Skye rescued his mother, Penelope. On Christmas Eve of 2014 Penelope surprised Skye with 6 piglets (five boys and a girl) who were appropriately named after Santa's reindeer. Dasher’s siblings were all adopted into loving families. His one sister Macaroni (formerly Vixen) was returned to FPAS a year after her adoption due to unforeseen circumstances. 

 

Dasher is a truly sweet boy, although he has the longest tusks of any sanctuary residents he is always careful with them. He lives with his mom and sister in the main pig herd.
